Mental health consultant Shen traveled from Brooklyn to Atlanta to protest the creation of ‘cop city’ – which has sparked violent clashes after a protestor was shot dead after allegedly shooting a Georgia State Police officer.

At least seven people were shot and killed with one critically injured in shootings on Monday at two locations in the small California coastal community of Half Moon Bay, according to reports.

The shootings are considered to be linked and mark the state’s third mass shooting in a week.

Police arrest Half Moon Bay shooting suspect

Suspect Zhao, 67, was taken into custody two hours after the shootings, according to a CNN report.

Independent journalist Joshua Rodriguez shared a clip of his arrest to his Twitter page on Monday evening.

He captioned the video: “Hours ago California had multiple active shootings causing the whole city Half Moon Bay to go on locked down.

“The suspect has been arrested. 67-year-old Zhao Chunli is accused of murdering 7 people at Mushroom Farm and at a green house.”

Breaking: At Least 10 Dead and 10 Injured in Los Angeles’s Monterrey Park Shooting During Chinese Lunar New Year Event. Shooter Still at Large

At 10:22pm last night, “officers from the Monterey Park Police Department responded to a local business in the 100 block of West Garvey Avenue in Monterrey Park regarding a shots fired call,” according to Capt. Andrew Meyer of the Sheriff’s homicide team. At least 10 people have been reported as killed with another 10 injured. The suspect fled the scene and is still at large.

At this time, there is no description of the shooter nor the type of weapon that they used.

There was a festival for the Chinese Lunar New Year going on in the area. The event has been cancelled from further celebration on Sunday. Police do not know whether the shooting was motivated by the events. According to the Monterey Park government website, “past Lunar New Year events in Monterey Park have drawn crowds estimated at over 100,000 visitors per day from all over Southern California.”

I normally like to give a name with the video but I scoured the internet for hours and couldn’t come up with the actual names of Karen and her son involved in this video. On December 24, 2020, the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriffs were searching for a stolen Tesla in the area but came across another stolen vehicle which was a Chevy Camaro. Upon pulling the car over with guns drawn, the driver exits the vehicle and was taken into custody. The passenger’s mother is seen screaming at police while her son gets handcuffed and also taken into custody to face weapon charges. Police: Three 911 calls made before woman shot Clayton County officer, shootout with APD

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — Both a Clayton County officer and a suspect are in critical condition after after two officer-involved shootings overnight, police say.

According to Clayton County police, 25-year-old Aiyanah Pryor called 911 saying she was suicidal at 9:40 p.m. on Newbury Drive. Pryor’s mother called 911 just after 10 p.m. and a third call was made at 11 p.m.

Moments after Officer Demika Lloyd arrived on the scene, police say Pryor pulled out a gun and shot Officer Lloyd twice.

Other officers found the injured officer in the yard with multiple gunshot wounds. She was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital where she is currently in surgery, but still listed in critical condition.

Clayton County police say Pryor then got into a black Jeep and drove north on I-75 and into the city of Atlanta.

Atlanta officers received a call of a car matching the suspect’s vehicle description being spotted on Macon Dr. and Polar Rock Rd. SW. As officers approached the car, the suspect fired at least one shot and APD officers returned fire, hitting her multiple times.

The suspect was also taken to Atlanta Medical Center where she is listed in critical condition, but is stable.

No Atlanta police officers were injured in this second officer-involved shooting.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is currently at the Newbury Drive scene and is working to learn more details about the initial shooting.

“What you see here tonight is a demonstration of law enforcement’s dedication across this region and the quality of the men and women that wear the badge for their respective communities and I’m proud of the actions of the Atlanta Police Department this morning as they acted on behalf of this community,” Atlanta Interim Police Chief Darin Schierbaum said Thursday morning.

A Clayton County police spokesperson says the officer has been with their department for approximately a year-and-a-half.
