Man who was fatally shot after firing rifle in Nebraska Target had 13 loaded magazines, police say

No customers or workers were shot in the incident. The gunman, who was shot and killed by police, had an AR-15 style rifle, officials said.

Police said the man, who has not been identified, fired inside the store and was fatally shot by an Omaha police officer.

“He had an AR-15 rifle with him and plenty of ammunition,” Schmaderer said.

Omaha police officers and a Nebraska State Trooper entered the Target and encountered the gunman with the rifle, police said.

“Officers issued numerous loud verbal commands ordering the suspect to drop the rifle,” the police department said in a statement Tuesday evening. An Omaha officer fired their handgun at the gunman, killing him, according to police.

At least 29 people called 911, police said. Some customers ran outside when gunshots were heard.

Central Florida police: drive-by shooting wounds 10-Ten people were injured Monday afternoon during a drive-by shooting in a central Florida neighborhood, police said. Lakeland Police Chief Sam Taylor said investigators believe the shooting was a targeted attack. (Jan. 31)

The shooting occurred in the area of Iowa Avenue North and Plum Street Monday afternoon around 3:43 p.m.
Police initially said nine people were hurt, but they later learned that an additional person had injuries.
Two people had critical injuries, and eight people had non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said the two victims with critical injuries are getting surgery.
“One is in surgery and the other is either in surgery or headed to surgery,” Lakeland Police Chief Sam Taylor said.
The police chief said some of the victims are being more cooperative than others who were hurt.
“Some are cooperating, some are not cooperating. Some that had non-life-threatening injuries have decided that they don’t have any idea why this happened. And some are telling us everything that they know about it,” Taylor said.
Four suspects in a four-door dark blue Nissan are believed to be involved in the shooting.

The Biden Regime has consistently demonstrated that conservatives are their primary enemies and will utilize various tools to silence them. A report today from Just The News claims the Regime is now adopting tactics formerly used against the Islamic State to censor conservatives.

According to the report, the Regime is colluding with Big Tech, private firms, and academia to use military-grade artificial intelligence to identify so-called “misinformation” online and replace it with the Regime’s preferred narrative. This project is primarily focused on patriots concerned about stolen elections and the safety of vaccines.

The funding for this endeavor goes through the National Science Foundation (NSF). The NSF has already provided millions of dollars in government grants toward restricting law-abiding Americans’ First Amendment rights.

The Gateway Pundit has consistently sounded the alarm on faulty election security and questioned the efficacy and safety of the COVID shots. One can safely assume TGP and other like-minded conservative outlets are squarely in the Regime’s crosshairs.

Lap-dancing NYPD cop Vera Mekuli puts on another show for The Post

The NYPD’s lap-dance cop had no problem putting on a show for The Post on Sunday as she bought a copy of the paper with another scoop about her.

Bronx rookie cop Vera Mekuli — who made headlines last year when she was caught on video grinding on the lap of a married lieutenant at a party — was all smiles at a Bronx 7/11 as she picked up The Post, which included a story about her recent Harley Quinn cosplay.

The cop had dressed up as the DC Comics villainess and did a photoshoot in the costume that she later posted online, heating up social media.

On Sunday, Mekuli giggled and smiled for The Post, posing in her NYPD blues while holding the paper open to her story.

Last year, Mekuli was famously caught giving a lap dance to married Lt. Nick McGarry at the 44th Precinct’s annual holiday bash.

Tennessee police officer shot multiple times, transported in critical condition

A police officer was shot multiple times at a gas station in Southeast Memphis on Monday night and is listed in critical condition. 

The officer was transported to Regional One Hospital.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says the officer was responding to a suspicious vehicle near a gas station at 9:15pm. Ultimately, shots were fired by both the officer and the suspect. 

It is being reported that the shooter was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Memphis Police Department’s statement on Twitter noted, “Officers are on the scene of an officer-involved shooting in the 4100 block of Winchester that occurred at 9:15 pm. A Memphis Police Officer was shot multiple times and transported to ROH in critical condition. The subject who fired shots at the officer was also struck and pronounced dead at the scene. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has been contacted and will investigate this incident. All additional info will come from their PIO.”

After the suspect was shot, the person fled the scene on foot. The individual was later found dead by officers in an idle vehicle.
