State Police K-9 Frankie shot and killed during Fitchburg standoff

FITCHBURG – A State Police K-9, named Frankie, was shot and killed during a standoff in Fitchburg Tuesday afternoon. It happened at a multi-family home on Oliver Street. The suspect apparently shot and killed himself.

State Police were attempting to arrest 38-year-old Matthew Mack who had warrants stemming from a shooting on July 21 in Fitchburg.

The State Police STOP team and negotiators made multiple attempts to get Mack to surrender peacefully.

At about 2:48 p.m., K-9 Frankie and his handler, Sergeant David Stucenski, attempted to arrest Mack when he appeared at a rear exit of the house. Mack fired multiple shots toward police, striking Frankie. Mack then went back into the house.

Sgt. Stucenski was not injured.

VIDEO: Uvalde Cop Husband Of Teacher Held Back As He Tried To Rescue Her From Gunman

Uvalde, TX – Recently-released bodycam footage captured the moment when an Uvalde school district police officer was held back by law enforcement as he tried to get to his dying wife during the mass shooting inside her Robb Elementary School classroom (video below).

Eva Mireles, 44, had contacted her husband, Uvalde Consolidated Independent Schools District Police Department (UCISDPD) Officer Ruben Ruiz, after she was shot as she attempted to shield her students from the gunman’s barrage of bullets inside her classroom on May 24, Texas Representative Joe Moody (D – El Paso) tweeted on July 13.

Mireles told her husband “that she’d been shot and was dying,” Moody said

Recently-released bodycam footage showed Officer Ruiz as he pushed his way to the front of a group of law enforcement officers standing in the hallway outside the classroom where the gunman had his wife and her fourth-grade class held hostage.

“Hey hey hey – Ruben,” one officer said as another officer put his hand on Officer Ruiz’s shoulder and pulled him back.

“She says she’s shot!” Officer Ruiz protested.

Additional officers then escorted him out of the building, the clip showed.

By the time police stormed the classroom and killed the 18-year-old gunman, he’d been inside the school gunning down victims for more than an hour.

Nineteen children and two adults were murdered in the shooting.

Mireles was among the victims.

A police officer and a suspect were both killed in a shooting on Detroit’s west side Wednesday night.

The incident occurred at about 7:40 p.m. local time after officers responded to a report of “shots fired,” according to the Detroit Police Department.

The officer was struck by gunfire and rushed to a hospital, where he died. Detroit Police Chief James White said in a briefing that the fallen officer, whose name was not released, was a five-year veteran whose own father had also served in the department.

Ohio Deputy Shot In The Face, Still Takes Out The Suspect

*****SC deputy killed after being shot in ambush, sheriff says

Lima, OH – An Allen County sheriff’s deputy was shot in the face during a traffic stop early Tuesday morning.

The incident began at approximately 2:30 a.m. on June 21, when an unidentified Allen County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) deputy attempted to stop a vehicle on 2nd Street, the sheriff’s office said in a press release.

The driver “immediately fled the scene,” leading the deputy on a brief pursuit that ended several blocks away, according to the ACSO.

The suspect then bailed out of the vehicle and took off on foot.

The deputy chased the suspect down, leading to a physical struggle between them, the ACSO said.

The sheriff’s office said deputy and the suspect exchanged gunfire during the confrontation.

The gunman died from his wounds, and the deputy was shot in the face.

The wounded deputy was rushed to Lima Memorial Health System for emergency care before being transferred to a hospital in the Columbus area, according to the ACSO.

Ohio Attorney General’s Office Press Secretary Steve Irwin said the deputy’s injuries appear to be serious, but that they are not believed to be life threatening, The Lima News reported.

You engage the shooter and take him out!

You do not wait!

These cops did not. They had a ballistic shield on scene in minutes but they chose to wait and stop heroic unarmed parents from trying to help

COWARDS FVUCKING COWARDS- no monday morning quarterbacking…. THEY ARE FVCKING COWARDS

To any civilian or media or non LEO reading this post- Real Cops and Law Enforcement professionals will not defend the actions of these cowards or their incompetent leadership. The Border Patrol agent (off duty) who raced in and killed the shooter is representative of the vast majority of law enforcement in this nation.
