A Texas soldier was found guilty of murder on Friday after Soros-backed District Attorney Jose Garza sought murder charges for an act of self defense during the 2020 George Floyd riots.

Sgt. Daniel Perry, an army soldier who shot and killed an armed BLM-Antifa protester in Austin in July 2020 was indicted on a murder charge in 2021.

Perry’s lawyer, Clint Broden, argued his client, who was driving Uber when rioters mobbed his car, was acting in self-defense after the BLM activist, Garrett Foster pointed a gun at him.

“It is important to note that the standard of proof required for an indictment is significantly less than the standard of proof required for a conviction,” Perry’s lawyer said in statement said.

A Travis County jury found Daniel Perry guilty of murder.

The jury found Perry not guilty of aggravated assault.

Actor Leonardo DiCaprio testified on Monday in Washington, D.C. that the financier, Jho Low, told him that he wanted to donate $30 million to Barack Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign. So, the guy connected to China wanted to funnel money to get Obama elected? Gee, I wonder why the Chinese would want him (and Joe Biden) re-elected? “It was a casual conversation about what party he was in support of,” DiCaprio said, telling jurors that Low said he planned on giving “a significant donation” to the Democratic Party that was “somewhere to the tune of $20-30 million.” DiCaprio knew Low because he had partied with him and he helped finance one of his films.

Low had a ton of money — he’s also accused of having embezzled $4.5 billion from Malaysia’s state investment fund, but he’s reportedly hiding out in China so that Malaysia can’t get him.

Enter Pras Michel of the music group “The Fugees” to allegedly help make those donations to the Obama campaign since it would be illegal for Low to do so.

3 Kansas City, Kansas police officers shot during undercover fentanyl investigation

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV/Gray News) – An investigation is underway after three Kansas City, Kansas, police officers and three suspects were shot Wednesday afternoon.

The three officers from the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department (KCKPD) who were shot all have serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department (KCPD) is handling the investigation. The KCKPD asked them to do so. It is customary for an outside agency to investigate officer-involved shootings. The information below comes from both agencies, however.

On Wednesday, officers were following up on an investigation from a few days ago that involved fentanyl dealers. They were undercover and were trying to purchase fentanyl pills as part of that follow-up.

Tactical officers were in the area when they tried to stop a vehicle, which had the suspects from their investigation inside. Once the vehicle stopped and they tried conducting an arrest, gunfire erupted from the suspects’ vehicle.

The KCKPD officers exchanged gunfire with the suspects.

According to the KCPD, three adult male suspects were injured. They also have non-life-threatening injuries.

Once the KCPD’s investigation is complete, detectives will submit the case file to the Wyandotte County, Kansas, District Attorney’s Office.

The entrance to the University of Kansas Hospital was blocked by police following the shooting. Multiple KCKPD vehicles could be seen coming and going, but normal operations at the hospital continued and visitors were being accommodated.

“It’s difficult to say at this point,” associate chief medical officer Dr. Sean Kumer answered when asked about how long he anticipated the officers to remain hospitalized. “There are various injuries. Some are less serious than others and there’s the medical teams that are certainly still assessing and it’s very early. Can’t tell at this point. Some of the folks are still going to be undergoing some diagnostic testing.”

The doctor also said the officers are stable and able to converse with the medical team treating them.

“The law enforcement community and the first responder community come together in a situation like this. This is really hard on the police officers. It’s hard on their families. It’s hard on the medical staff here treating the folks that have been injured. So, it’s an emotional time. I am very familiar with the folks at the agency involved. They’re going to get support from lots of places, but it’s super hard for everybody involved, for the officers that are injured, and for the people that care about them,” Chief Brad Deichler, of the University of Kansas Health System, said.

Hermann police officer injured in shooting headed to Colorado for treatment

HESTERFIELD — The Hermann police officer who survived a shooting last month will leave Mercy Hospital and fly to Colorado on Tuesday morning, according to the police department.

Officer Adam Sullentrup was shot in the head March 12 at a Casey’s convenience store in Hermann when he and Hermann police Detective Sgt. Mason Griffith tried to arrest a man for multiple warrants.

Griffith was also shot during the altercation and died.

In the days following the shooting, Sullentrup was in a medically induced coma and underwent multiple surgeries, including one to repair his spleen. Sullentrup was also shot in the side and broke a rib.

Hermann police on Monday announced “with great joy” that the officer would be leaving Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur around 9:30 a.m.

Tuesday and would be escorted by his family, friends and first responders to Spirit of St. Louis airport in Chesterfield. He’s headed to Craig Hospital in Englewood, Colorado.

Police shoot, kill girl suspected in mail carrier robbery

LAKEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — A girl suspected of robbing a postal carrier at gunpoint was shot and killed by police in Colorado, after authorities say she pointed the gun at officers.

An officer was shot and wounded in the confrontation Monday, Lakewood police said in a statement. The injury wasn’t life-threatening.

The suspect’s name and age had not been released as of Tuesday.

It was not immediately clear how the officer was wounded. At a press conference, department spokesperson John Romero said the girl shot at police officers, who returned fire. However, the written statement issued later Monday only said the girl had pointed a gun at the officers. A handgun was found where the shooting took place, Romero said.
