KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Police are searching for a suspect who shot at officers Saturday night, according to investigators.
The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety responded to a robbery in the 2100 block South Burdick Street, police said.
Officers later located the suspect’s vehicle in the 4300 block of South Burdick Street, the suspect fled on foot and shot at officers, investigators said.
As of 10:30 p.m., police were actively searching for the suspect and asked the public to stay away from the the area.
Police did recover a weapon but the suspect is not in custody and was last seen on foot, according to KDPS.
No injuries were reported.
