The officer had been shot multiple times, according to WBFF.
Officials said investigators had determined the officer was on duty, sitting in a marked patrol vehicle when the gunman walked up to the car from behind and started shooting.
The video was shot from less than a block away from where the marked police car stopped when it crashed.
“Wore the dumbass out. He crashed into a park…,” a man’s voice said from behind the camera.
“Gotta call the police,” a female voice chimed in.
“Don’t call the police,” the man told her.
