Officer Matthew Bacon was assigned to the U.S. North Texas Fugitive Task Force.

A Dallas police officer died by apparent suicide a day after he and three other officers fatally shot a homicide suspect as they tried to arrest him this week, according to a department email obtained by The Dallas Morning News.

Dallas police released 17 seconds of surveillance footage Wednesday that did not show any of the officers or include the sounds of gunfire. The officers were part of a task force and were not wearing body cameras during Monday’s operation, police officials said.

The officer who died, Matthew Bacon, was assigned to the U.S. North Texas Fugitive Task Force, which is made up of U.S. Marshals and officers from Dallas and Mesquite. According to internal memos sent by the chief to all officers andobtained by The News, police officials learned ofhis death around 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Bacon was one of four officers on the task force who opened fire around 10:15 a.m. Monday while trying to apprehend Corey Wayne Thomas in the 3700 block of South Tyler Street, near Marvin D. Love Freeway, police said. The officers fatally shot Thomas, who was suspected in the July 24 killing of 45-year-old Jason Salazar inside a vehicle in the 1500 block of Mentor Avenue, Dallas police said.

Twitch streamer Kai Cenat was issued a desk appearance ticket Friday night and walked free from a Manhattan precinct after “encouraging” a mob of young fans to descend upon Union Square Park, where all hell broke loose.

The influencer, who has more than 20 million followers, was expected to face two counts of inciting a riot and unlawful assembly in connection to the Friday afternoon mayhem, NYPD Chief of Department Jeffrey Maddrey said at a press conference.

It wasn’t immediately clear if those charges were ultimately filed.

The 21-year-old live-streamed left the 19th Precinct on the Upper East Side early Saturday and was hustled into a waiting black SUV without commenting to the media.

Sources said he only received a desk appearance ticket.

Cenat hadn’t obtained a permit for his gaming accessory giveaway in the park Friday afternoon and the event quickly morphed into violent chaos as thousands of young fans stormed the surrounding streets.

Some of the most prolific serial killers in the world maintained ‘double lives’, hiding in plain sight from authorities while committing heinous crimes.

Barbara Sanitni, a psychologist, sex and relationships adviser, said that serial killers who live ‘ordinary lives’ often exhibit a trait known as duping delight – a type of pleasure derived from successfully deceiving others.

She explained that the ability to lead seemingly normal lives amongst friends, families, colleagues and neighbours while also deceiving those individuals often brings the criminals a ‘thrilling sense of control and superiority’.

‘It’s not just about getting away with their horrific acts, but also the satisfaction derived from successfully tricking others,’ she told MailOnline. ‘This perverse pleasure reinforces their self-deception, enabling them to compartmentalize and suppress feelings of guilt or remorse.’

The psychologist argued that people often expect serial killers to be ‘socially inept or visibly strange’ – but often the contrary is true.

She says many highly-skilled murderers have a ‘high degree of social competence’, are able to ‘read and manipulate social situations effectively’, and can fit ‘into societal norms seamlessly’.

Alabama Firefighter Dies Days After Gunman Shoots Him And Coworker Inside Fire Station

Birmingham, AL – One of two Birmingham firefighters who were shot inside a fire station while at work last week has succumbed to his wounds.

Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service (BFRS) Battalion Chief Tobias Jones confirmed that BFRS Firefighter Jordan Melton passed away on Monday evening as a result of the July 12 attack at Fire Station No. 9, WBRC reported.

BFRS Firefighter Jamal Jones, who was also shot in during the incident, remains hospitalized in serious condition.

Defund Police Regret

After Democrats pushed the defunding of police departments throughout blue states and cities, there seems to now be a lot of buyers remorse. Violence and lawlessness are up and people are being killed. I’d say I am shocked at their surprise but we are dealing with leaders and activists who are ignorant at best, more likely complicit with Democrat destructive agendas.
