An Oregon man wanted by police for allegedly kidnapping a woman and beating her unconscious may be using dating apps to find more victims, according to the Grants Pass Police Department.

According to the department, Benjamin Obadiah Foster, 36, is considered an “extremely dangerous suspect wanted for Attempted Murder, Kidnapping, and Assault.” He remains on the run but has been active on dating sites and apps.

In a statement about the suspect posted to Facebook, the department said that “on Tuesday at 6:52 PM, Grants Pass Police Officers responded to a residence in the 2100 block of Shane Way regarding an assault. Upon arrival, officers found a female victim who had been bound and severely beaten into unconsciousness. The victim was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.”

“The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived but was positively identified as Benjamin Obadiah Foster, 36 years old, of Wolf Creek,” the statement continued. “Foster was last known to be driving a dark blue 2008 Nissan Sentra 4-door with Oregon license 407EDX. Foster is known to be armed and should be considered extremely dangerous. Foster is wanted by the police for Kidnapping, Attempted Murder, and Assault. Anyone seeing Foster or knowing his whereabouts should immediately call 9-1-1 and reference Grants Pass case #23-3570.”

Perrault, 44, then a police officer for the City of Eatonton, Georgia, told Putnam County Sheriff Howard Sills that his wife Amanda had shot herself in the head.

Sheriff Howard Sills: He said that they were in bed and … they were arguin’ … And then all of a sudden, she just produced the gun outta thin air and executed herself.

Deadly shooting following Lunar Near Year festival, police looking for male suspect

At 10:22pm last night, “officers from the Monterey Park Police Department responded to a local business in the 100 block of West Garvey Avenue in Monterrey Park regarding a shots fired call,” according to Capt. Andrew Meyer of the Sheriff’s homicide team. At least 10 people have been reported as killed with another 10 injured. The suspect fled the scene and is still at large.

At this time, there is no description of the shooter nor the type of weapon that they used.

There was a festival for the Chinese Lunar New Year going on in the area. The event has been cancelled from further celebration on Sunday. Police do not know whether the shooting was motivated by the events. According to the Monterey Park government website, “past Lunar New Year events in Monterey Park have drawn crowds estimated at over 100,000 visitors per day from all over Southern California.”

I normally like to give a name with the video but I scoured the internet for hours and couldn’t come up with the actual names of Karen and her son involved in this video. On December 24, 2020, the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriffs were searching for a stolen Tesla in the area but came across another stolen vehicle which was a Chevy Camaro. Upon pulling the car over with guns drawn, the driver exits the vehicle and was taken into custody. The passenger’s mother is seen screaming at police while her son gets handcuffed and also taken into custody to face weapon charges.
