What’s wrong with the Oath Keepers? Military and Law Enforcement personnel who remember their oath to the US Constitution unlike many in our government right now. They show up to protect those whose constitutional liberties are being threatened by tyrannical government – NON VIOLENTLY. Unlike ANTIFA and BLM and other leftwing Democrat thugs, they are not assaulting innocent people, burning down American cities, or threatening to turn America into a Communist State. But the Feds ignore and admitted they will not monitor left wing domestic terror groups. Too busy flaking patriots I guess…….
Seattle, WA – The Seattle Police Department could potentially lose another third of its already-depleted force by the middle of the month due to the city’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate.
The City of Seattle adopted a mandate imposed by Washington Governor Jay Inslee which requires all healthcare workers and state employees to be fully vaccinated by Oct. 18 if they want to keep their jobs, KING reported.
In order to meet the deadline, employees needed to have received the Johnson & Johnson single-dose vaccine or their second dose of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine by Oct. 4 to qualify as being fully vaccinated by Oct. 18.
Employees who provided proof of their vaccination by Oct. 5 were also awarded with eight hours of paid leave, The Seattle Times reported.
But as of Oct. 5, as many as 33 percent of the SPD’s sworn employees had not submitted proof of vaccination, according to statistics released by the department.
That means the city could soon lose 354 sworn officers on top of the hundreds of officers who have left SPD since early last year.
“We are at record lows in the city right now,” SPD Chief Adrian Diaz told KING back in April. “I have about 1,080 deployable officers. This is the lowest I’ve seen our department.”
Chief Diaz sent out a letter to SPD staff on Oct. 1 imploring them to “get it done.”
Social workers are so backlogged that it can take a week or more to respond to urgent 911 calls. Police reform may have support but making people’s lives demonstrably worse seems cruel and regressive.

Opinion
I wrote articles supporting social workers responding to 911 calls. I believe that cops can’t be all things to all people.
The pushback from the law enforcement community was immense. They thought I was suggesting that the funds should come from their budgets, which was impossible if cities were going to do it right.
Cops believed it wouldn’t be done correctly and that the public would be at greater risk.
Many believed that cities and states would do it on the cheap without attention to detail. They were right, at least in this instance.
Crisis Responders Are So Backlogged That It Can Take A Week To Respond
Just when you say democrats can’t get any dumber…..Portland city council member @ JoAnnPDX is implementing a strategy to curb the city’s record shootings & homicides: traffic barrels. Shootings have skyrocketed after she successfully abolished the police gun violence reduction team last #SoStupid
China’s Influence Over NYPD Highlights Threat of Infiltrated Law Enforcement
Individuals who play key roles in New York’s police department or have done so in the past have major ties to China’s communist regime, and are using their positions to further policy favorable to Beijing.
Notably, James O’Neill, whom New York Mayor Bill de Blasio tapped as NYPD Commissioner from 2016 to 2019 and who now serves as de Blasio’ COVID-19 senior advisor, has repeatedly spoken at the America China Public Affairs Institute (ACPAI).
According to ACPAI’s website, the organization “strongly supports a Security Partnership between the United States of America and the People’s Republic of China” on areas including “law enforcement cooperation,” “military consultation,” and “pandemic disease control.”
ACPAI also “strongly supports a Mutual Visa Waiver Program between the United States of America and the People’s Republic of China,” as well as free trade agreements between the two countries.
While serving as police commissioner, O’Neill spoke at three of ACPAI’s “Law Enforcement Luncheons.”
As The National Pulse notes of ACPAI:
The group has also hosted a “private breakfast forum with Dr. Yao Yunzhu,” who is a retired Major General of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) along with a “Security Partnership Symposium” hosted by the PLA Academy of Military Science.
With the help of the aforementioned Chinese Communist Party apparatchiks, ACPAI seeks to “gather our expertise and our network of friends to facilitate a transformational United States-China relation,” according to its mission statement.
“For the twenty-first century, a cooperative partnership with the People’s Republic of China is important and necessary for the United States of America,” it continues.
UPDATE: The Sheffield Police Department said Sgt. Nick Risner, one of two officers shot in the line of duty on Friday, died from his injuries at a Huntsville hospital Saturday morning. Risner had been on the force for eight years.
“Sgt. Risner performed a heroic act by protecting the Shoal’s Community from the shooter from entering the Walmart parking lot,” Sheffield Police Chief Ricky Terry said. “Sgt. Risner died a hero, and his legacy and memory will be with Sheffield Police Department and the Sheffield Community forever.”
The chief added, “The justice system failed not only Sgt. Nick Risner, but his family and everyone who has been affected by his passing. This incident should have never happened because a coward who should still be in prison was walking the streets.”
Brian Lansing Martin, the 41-year-old man accused of shooting Risner, was convicted of manslaughter and sentenced to 10 years in prison in 2013. Martin was released in 2016 after serving only three years.
Disappointed by the reaction of the partner officer…..

Last night in Sunset Park Brooklyn, TL-114 had to do what they had to do to save lives. Multiple children were rescued. The outdoor dining makes setting the trucks up even more challenging.
