Sacramento County, CA – Officials released bodycam video from the deputy-involved shooting of an armed carjacker who had attacked and injured his own grandmother (video below).
The incident began at about 9:54 p.m. on Sept. 7 when officers from another agency responded to a call from a 72-year-old woman who said her grandson had assaulted her, pulled her from her car, and driven away in her vehicle, according to a press release from the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO).
The grandmother’s arm was broken during the carjacking, KCRA reported.
